Life in the Danger Zone Cast!

October 28, 2016

With the release of LIFE IN THE DANGER ZONE next Tuesday, I thought it would be fun to introduce you to its cast of characters and tell you a little about the book. The map below shows the Adriatic Sea where my characters are aboard a small cruise ship that starts from Venice and makes stops along the coast of Croatia (where it says Dalmatia).

Here is my main character, Rose Mulligan. She loves to read—mysteries, especially—and is a little bit shy. Her grandparents force her to join a young people's tour group during the cruise, at least for the first couple of days. She's not happy about it, but there's not much she can do.

Here are the rest of the people in the tour group:

First is Sam Briggs.

Sam looks a little different than the guy in this picture, but it's the look in his eyes that captures Sam's personality.

Sam is a swimmer and just wants to spend time with his family.

Sam is traveling with his cousins and uncle. Alexis is the oldest of his two cousins at nineteen. She's a practical, take-charge kind of person, which can be both helpful and not so helpful.

Her sister, Sophie, is a little quieter. She recently had her heart broken, which makes Sam and Alexis want to take care of her.

A French brother and sister, Jacques and Marie, are also in the group. Marie speaks very little English, but Jacques speaks it well. He spends most of his time flirting with Sophie.

The youngest in the group is Nick at thirteen. He's the nephew of the tour guide, is a huge Marvel fan, and is always trying to get the older group members to play games with him.

Last, but not least, is Clio, the tour guide. A little bit nervous and a little bit distracted, Clio does her best to keep her nephew Nick in line while describing the various historical sites the group visits. She and Nick often seem irritated with each other.

So there you have it. I'm excited to share Rose's story with you. She has quite the adventure. ;-) Check out the Books page if you want to read the synopsis of the book!

Bye for now!
