Where did the summer go?
Has anybody else had a super busy summer? Mine has been filled with travel, reading, and writing. My one bit of news is that the next book in The Zone series, LIFE IN THE DANGER ZONE, is to be released in October. So I hope I'll have a new cover to show off sometime in the next month or so. In the meantime, here's a photo of my husband's minions. He built them here at Mustang Island on the Texas coast. We come every year to connect with old friends who do their best to create

LEGOS!
One of the things that distracts me from writing is what's on my desk. Easy to see why I often have to write somewhere else. Thank God for the laptop computer! #thewritinglife #legos

Is there a doctor in the house?
So I have titled this week, "Revenge of the Medical Profession." Not very catchy, I know, but it says it all. I have two medical appointments that were made a year ago—without a calendar handy. On Wednesday I have a follow-up appointment with the doctor who's helping me with my allergies. In the midst of all of this, I developed a toothache, and need a root canal. So that's two more appointments this week. Total = 5 The worst part is that I received a new prescription for gla
